The Schrade SCHF 64 is another Blade Designed by Chris Tanner from Preparedmind 101. This knife's sole purpose is to be a beater blade. To bridge the gap between those who don't like to baton their knives and the activity itself. The SCHF 64 is designed specifically to be a blade to baton with. It is a rough offshoot of the Schrade SCHF 43 "Jess-X". It's rough profile, steel, and heat treat are exactly the same as Jess-X but has been altered to both limit cost and to focus it on being design specific.
