SASAH is a unique undergraduate program offered at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. SASAH is the acronym for The School for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities, a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary humanities program that attracts some of the most ambitious and engaged students in Canada. As a four-year undergraduate Major in Arts & Humanities, we combine rigorous scholarship, innovative teaching, and engaged experiential learning, within a program dedicated to innovative change and transformation. Offering an interdisciplinary, cross-cultural education unique in Canada, SASAH accepts a yearly cohort of 25 students with excellent records of academic and extra-curricular accomplishment. Together, our students explore the complexities of human achievement, communication, and aspiration; engage in language study; gain digital literacy; and acquire service and professional experiences both locally and internationally.
