The book was donated to LBI with the Henry Herzog collection (AR 10518). Ruth Herzog (née Flegenheimer, wife of Henry Herzog) attended the first Waldorf school in Stuttgart from 1930 to 1935. Hilde Langen’s Schneewittchen represents the idea of anthroposophical artwork in children’s literature.
