Fort de Vallorbe in Switzerland was built between 1935 and 1939 and decommissioned in 1983. It’s now a museum that preserves this piece of history for generations to come. Inside this fortress, also preserved in time, is a very special Schindler #elevator, installed almost 90 years ago.

Our #TeamSchindler in Lausanne is responsible for servicing the elevator. Even though it’s close to 90 years old, it was only minimally modernized in 1960 to accommodate a new control panel. Everything else is still the same.
