Function Scheduler with Cloud Functions
One of the big obstacles left for our book club app is that the backend has to do a lot of work. And there are transitions that need to happen, while nobody has the app open. Google provides a really easy way to solve these issues. This can be done with Cloud Functions. The first step for this is we need something monitoring the databe and update accordingly. We monitor this by checking every minute for something. We set up in this video
