We were warned about entering Sinaloa from the mountain back country trails and at night. . . We did both and it was the first time I felt uncomfortable this trip. 8 hrs on back country mountain roads , we ran out of water, my GPS (with our only emergency button) died and night was here. Luckily we made it to the town and it was normal happy , friendly Mexico as usual!
