For this collab, the requirement was to do a head-bob in the same vein as the orginal "Scare" meme (youtube.com/watch?v=eCe96xbAevQ&t=3s), hence the lack of frame by frame, of which would be shown for a small section of time alongside others. This is why there's not much animation in this one, it's simply looping so the video isn't half a second long. The animation was also made to be green-screened, I just put a solid grey in this version so that it doesn't strain the eyes. Finally, I had to come up with a new scary design for the part, so I made a little OC: At the risk of being unoriginal, I'm just gonna refer to it as "Creature" for simplicity's sake. Hope you like it when you see the final product. ^^

Really proud of this one: My first proper OC (original character) animation!
This was made as an entry for The Judgemental Critters third animation challenge (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6MROWNqVXw) in which you had to create an animation of one of your OCs using voice lines. I rarely delve outside of song-based content so it was exciting to try and make something like this for a change. As such, I tried to go all out: I made my own backgrounds, added shadows, tried out different camera angles, etc.
For anyone curious about the OC itself, their name is Tavi - theyre the main character from a story Ive been working on in which avatars in a virtual world are trapped with no memory of who previously controlled them. Wont go into too much detail here since hopefully youll get to see more from it in the future. ^^

To celebrate the release of the third Mystery Skulls Animated video, I decided to do a quick Mystery Skulls Animated animation meme. It was only fitting I would pick a Mystery Skulls song to do it to. For this video I heavily copied Arthurs updated puppet rig shown on MysteryBen27s Tumblr in order to get it completely accurate, creating original assets for other elements such as the mouth, eyes, hands, etc. Hope you guys like it. ^^
Keep in mind that the accuracy doesnt come from my own free-hand artistic ability, but rather the use of the same software and puppet contruction, of which will look basically identical due to not relying on hand-drawn lines and instead utilising the softwares line and shape tools as the original animations do. Im noting this as this can be confused for outright tracing, despite the unique assets, animations and graphics. To put it simply, a line or shape being computer-generated rather than drawn free-hand, means that recreating the line or shape can make the end product look exactly the same despite the lack of tracing. Hope this clears up any worries if anyone has them. ^^

Happy (Belated) Halloween! Unfortunately didnt get this finished in time for Halloween itself but thats okay, this was made for fun after all.
Ive been hesistant to make a meme solely based around my OC for the channel, if only because the video would have no pre-established audience to rely on like with my fanwork content. But after seeing QuestionedTurkeys latest video on animation memes and hearing of the hashtag, I thought it would be worth doing it regardless (recommend checking that video out if you havent already for the full context behind it).
This is also the first normal animation meme Ive released since February, as Ive been experimenting with a lot of different formats as of late, so hope you enjoy. ^^

Tried something different this time around and Im happy with how this turned out, given Im still relatively new to Adobe After Effects. Im especially happy with the lightning with additional light effects and the tornado with debris flying around it, as I made those from scratch.
The wee woo text from the tornado sirin in the original image can still be vaguely seen coming from its speaker; and I used Photoshop to create a happy looking version of the kid doge, as well as taking out the original lightning and tornado from the base image.
Overall, lots of work for a 14 second animated meme but lots of good practice all the same. As always, hope you liked it! ^^

Been a while since Ive just made a fandom animation meme, but after watching The Amazing Digital Circus, how could I not? The style fit my interests too well for me not to make something.
This one was a lot, having walk cycles, smear frames, scene transitions, a ton of unique animation for Jax and even quick cameos from Zooble, Pomni and the Gloinks. Theres also Kaufmo (albeit after abstraction) so it really was a massive task compared to some of my more basic animation memes. Plus I used my own art style based off their 2D concept art and elements from the 3D models. The motions and facial expressions were inspired by the Meat Grinder memes made by Marmarmiya and Pegazora, so special shout out to them!
