Oh my God, I can't believe this is finally finished. It actually took around two days only but I hadn't spent so many hours straight on any video before (I worked Saturday all day from the time I woke up so...) and I actually like the way it turned out!
This song has been on my favourite songs list for almost three months now. I came up with a lot of storylines that could fit but this seemed the most interesting one so yeah.
Please notice that the video doesn't have exactly a chronological order XD It mixes Scar's imagination and memories with the present alogether. But you should be fine if you watch it after you read the storyline.
Story:
The video is about Scar reminiscing about his lost friend, Kiara. She was the daughter of the king, Simba, but he never cared for her (he used to beat her, mistreat her and so on). She and Scar become friends after he feels sorry for her, however that feeling may be stronger than just friendship. One day Simba sees them together and gets angry at his daughter's behaviour. He attempts to attack Scar, but Kiara jumps in front of her father and he hits her instead. She passes out for a moment, and when she wakes up she looks for them. Kiara finds Simba and Scar fighting; right before Simba throws Scar off a cliff. Kiara believes he's dead and fights with her father. Simba hits her again and watches as she struggles not to fall. Scar wakes up and sees Kiara's in danger. He runs and tries to save her, but she falls regardless. He's able to reach her before she dies; but there's nothing left for him to do.
I'm sorry the ending feels a little rushed. Honestly, those masks took forever to make. Even if they're around two seconds long none of them took less than half an hour to be made. But I wanted to make some manips so I went through it. The masks look like shit but at least I masked right? XD
Also, this is dedicated to all my wonderful friends who are always here for me and always cheer me up when I'm down. You're all amazing; and help me to keep sane through life XD I love you more than I can describe, and thank you for making this wonderful MEP for me. It's just beautiful. I could go on forever, but I think you already know how I feel. ♥ Thanks for letting me be part of the family!
