A few people have asked about setting up the scan function on the Kenwood VP-8000 so here's a brief video on how it's done. It's also the same on the VP-5000 and VP-6000.
This requires that your code-plug is set up to allow scan list editing. If you don't have the same menu options and lists you may need to contact your Kenwood dealer to have the programming adjusted.
