With the ground floor elevator rails in place at the bottom of the hoist way, the Wurtec False Car is ready to install one half at a time. Position one side against the rail and set the proper clearance of 1/8” from the face of the rail. Set the False Car Safety at the same clearance. Position and mount the other half of the Wurtec False Car in the same manner and bolt the cross braces to secure in place.
