Introducing Scaandal is Back by Adrian Vega
The return of a classic... better than ever.
More than a decade ago, Adrian introduced Scaandal, his groundbreaking take on the legendary Card at Any Number (CAAN) plot. With a completely original method, it quickly became known for being clean, deceptive, and unlike anything that had come before.
Now, it's back.
Scaandal is Back takes that original idea and pushes it further than ever, creating an effect that is more visual, more impossible, and more engaging for both magicians and lay audiences. The handling is more natural, the presentation more organic, and the impossibility even stronger.
The effect is exactly as clean as it looks-and the magician never touches the deck.
Before a number is even thought of, the performer openly displays a single card with a different back design from the rest of the deck and fairly inserts it among the cards.
A spectator then freely thinks of any number between 1 and 52.
The spectator counts the cards themselves.
When they reach their freely chosen number, the impossible is revealed.
The only odd-backed card in the entire deck is sitting at that exact position.
No switches. No suspicious moves. No handling by the magician.
