SB19 has once again dropped a puzzle-type teaser for their next event. As expected, it wasn’t easy to figure out right away, so most of us ended up checking the comments for clues. And it turns out that they will be doing a surprise busking performance at Taipei Main Station later today at exactly 6:30 PM.
They’re really going back to their roots, doing what they used to do when no one knew them. And just like before, it’s the same situation now busking in Taiwan. Only a few locals are familiar with them so far, which makes this kind of surprise appearance not too surprising. But they definitely know what they’re doing because choosing rush hour at the main station means they’ll have a much higher chance of catching the attention of passersby.
I’m guessing they’ll be performing right at the center of the station. It’s exciting to think about what song they’ll perform. Usually during busking, they go for explosive tracks that immediately catch people’s attention. There’s a high chance they’ll perform Dungka because of its infestious melody and the dance steps are easy to follow as well. But they might also go for a ballad, since this genre is very popular in Taiwan.
One thing’s for sure, the place will be packed with A-Teen Taiwan later. Hopefully, it doesn’t get too crowded so that even the locals have a chance to enjoy the performance. This busking was likely part of their plans all along, considering their extended stay in Taiwan ahead of the concert.
My only wish is for A-Teen and the Taiwanese audience to truly enjoy this moment. And most importantly, I hope this becomes a memorable experience for the five of them because there’s no doubt they’re excited about what they’re about to do.
