We're tackling TWO incredible WW2 resotrations at once – the Douglas SBD-1 Dauntless AND the Consolidated PBY Catalina.

The SBD's bold yellow wings are taking shape, the engine is nearly complete, and cockpit panels are going in. Meanwhile, we just moved part of the PBY's MASSIVE wing into the restoration bay (spoiler: it barely fits 😅).

The Air Zoo is a world-class, Smithsonian-affiliated aerospace and science museum, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
