It's the 10th year anniversary of the release of Silent Hill Downpour. It was the last traditional style Silent Hill game and a controversial entry within the franchise. Personally, I hated this game and thought it was just another blemish on the franchise. Time heals all wounds, right? 10 years later, has my opinion on Silent Hill Downpour softened?
We'll take a look at every single version and feature of Silent Hill Downpour to ensure I'm being reasonable in my criticisms.
NOTE: Silent Hill Origins, Homecoming, Shattered Memories, Book of Memories, and Downpour belong to the Western developed line of Silent Hill games. I compared Downpour against the other Western entries, rather than the core Japanese originals.
