With the dig season winding down, we put the finishing touches on an area that has been excavated every season since 1985. It is a bittersweet time for me, since I have spent many years digging in this grid. It is also exciting to have completely worked through the stratigraphic profile and know that we have done it well and can now move on to new areas.
