Hey! We are a newbie homesteading family in Western, North Carolina. Recently relocated, we moved our family of 5 and both sets of our parents to a 20 acre property to start our dream of becoming more self-sufficient. All of us (6 adults, 3 kids, and 3 dogs) currently live in the farm house, while the two other homes are being built over the next year.
