I kinda feel the need to explain this video because there is an italian song and I know most of you won't understand it.
So there is this contest called "Show Your Country" and basically you can only choose between using a song from your country or fandoms from your country.
The easiest way, I think, was to choose a song in english and a few fandoms from my country but I love challenges.
So I picked this song, it is not my favourite song actually, but I like how it sounds; and that was the hardest part I think, because we had to make a sad and emotional video and it is impossible if the person who's watching the video doesn't undestand the lyrics and doesn't know the fandoms.
I know a few songs in italian which I think are very sad but one has the lyrics in english and I couldn't use it, and the others have a "happy" rhythm (even though the lyrics is heartbreaking) and how could I make you see sadness with what seems like to be a happy song?
The song I chose was basically the only one with all the characteristics I required.
But now let's talk about the video.
The song is about saying goodbye and remembering all the good things that happens in life and especially when you are sharing your life with someone. All the black and white scenes are memories of course.
I decided to type a few verses of the lyrics, the most touching parts and the ones I wanted you to understand while you were watching the video, and I hope it won't distract you, maybe it's better if you watch the video twice.
But I'm talking too much and I'll stop.
PS: this is also a little video I wanted to dedicated to me because the 9th of July is my bday and this is for me :)
