Should the 2nd AC shout "Marker" before clapping the clapperboard? This is something from the past when audio was recorded on actual audio tapes. As in the past you have to listen to the audio tapes for marker being yelled which indicated a clap is coming.
While in modern times we nowadays edit digitally and instead of wasting time to listen for the clap we can just look at the audio wave form to see large singple spikes that indicate the clap, which we use to sync the audio with the footage.
