Version 1.1.2 update for Tears of the Kingdom has come out on May 25th 2023. Nintendo has confirmed that this update addresses two key issues: One fix pertains to a sound-related bug, and the other deals with the "Camera Work in the Depths" quest which was causing problems for some players.
Fixes for Audio Bugs
A bug causing unusually loud sounds in specific circumstances has been resolved.
Other Resolutions
The main quest, "Camera Work in the Depths", had an issue preventing players from advancing past a certain point. This update will enable players to progress further.
A number of issues have been rectified to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
This is the third update that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has received. The 1.1.0 update was released just before the game's launch and seemed relatively minor, but players noticed a boost in performance after its installation. The 1.1.1 update, released last week, also included a quest fix – you can find these patch notes here.
The 1.1.2 update for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available for all players. It's yet to be determined if this update rectifies any of the bugs players have been exploiting since the game's launch.
