"12 Fantasias and 4 Pieces for Keyboard: No. 16, Carillon" is the first single from Polish pianist and instrument builder Sławomir Zubrzycki's new album "Viola Organista: Monologues & Dialogues," a landmark recording that brings to life one of the most enigmatic inventions in the history of music, originally sketched by Leonardo Da Vinci: the viola organista. Produced by Nils Frahm and recorded at Berlin’s iconic Funkhaus, the album showcases the long-forgotten bowed keyboard instrument keyboard across works by John Dowland, Marin Marais, J.S. Bach, and more.
