Paul Barton | Sawang & Emilie Sing "Issa" in Karen Language @PaulBartonPiano | Uploaded August 2023 | Updated October 2024, 6 days ago.
Last week Emilie's friend Sawang came to stay with us to learn piano. Here's Sawang's first piece, a song from his native Karen village, which he taught to Emilie in his own language. The song is called "Issa" which means "Salt" in English. The lyrics encourage growing children to find the right path in life.

Recorded with Apogee HypeMiC and First Take.
