What's this? I actually finished a big project?
This was supposed to be a quick animatic and then it turned into something more polished. I'm very satisfied with this, After Effects is fun. I worked on this for two weeks and a few days.
Characters are from the book that I'm writing, the guy with long hair, Rain, belongs to me (he's the main character) and the girl with red eyes, Raven, belongs to my friend!

Summary of the story of these two characters for those who want context:

Raven (vampire, the girl with red eyes) was living in a big, wealthy vampire family. She hated this life and her father made it even worse for her, treating her like an object. One time, when she was twelve, her vampire family attacked some small village. During the fight she saved a woman and turned against her kin, which enraged her father. He cursed her, tying her fate with some random human's that he would first lay his eyes upon, which turned out to be the saved woman's husband that was just running towards them. After that the vampire father was killed, the vampires retreated and Raven was left alone. She got adopted by Minthe (the woman she saved) and her husband Bernard (the guy that got cursed as well), cause they wanted to show her their gratefulness for saving Minthe. She was growing up there happy, but not really getting along with her new adopted sister, who was scared and jealous of her. Once Raven was older, she and Bernard went to an Oracle to ask what was up with the curse and how to deal with it. The Oracle said that the curse will cause constant bad luck for Raven and it can only be broken by Bernard's second grandson with "eyes like ice" that will be born.

At the time Raven became an adult she left her new family to explore the country. Years later she returned to see how everything was. She met her jealous adopted sister, now married woman, who said that her father Bernard is dead, she has two sons, just like the prophecy promised, but Raven won't ever be seeing any of them, then she just throws her out and makes the village guards go after her. Raven hides away, and secretly starts stalking Rain (the guy with long hair and blue eyes), the second grandson, the one that was supposed to save her, in hope to meet him and make him break the curse.

Some years later, when he is 16, they finally get to meet eye to eye. But Raven never gets to fully explain everything - Rain is already terrified of her once he finds out she is a vampire and stalked him his whole childhood which made him develop severe anxiety and paranoia (he always felt watched but never knew by what and nobody believed him, saying it was all his imagination), this makes him avoid talking with her at all cost. If it wasn't enough, a few murders take place and every clue leads to Raven (the curse of bad luck). Rain accuses her of murder and gets her locked up. Entire year later it turns out she was actually innocent and someone else was responsible for the crimes. Rain goes to visit Raven in prison to apologize for his mistake and help her get out. But there it turns out she doesn't want his help anymore, not with the prison, nor with breaking the curse. All she wants at the moment is to see him dead for how he ruined her life and made the prophecy into a cruel joke - doing the exact opposite to what the prophecy promised he would...
