In this episode, I tackle the job of replacing some of the original stumps supporting our beautiful old timber house. She has been slowly slumping for a while now, needing a bit of TLC.
Restumping an old house is never just about swapping out timber. It is about working carefully, thinking ahead, and respecting a structure that has been standing for nearly ninety years. There were challenges, adjustments, and a few moments that required a different way of thinking to keep things moving in the right direction.
