We saved Winston from slaughter in June of 2017, and Ralphie in December. Ralphie is still separated from the herd until he's gelded but we occasionally let Winston in his paddock with him to play.

It's been raining for about two weeks, so the boys are rambunctious from boredom. We put them together after feeding time to play a little game of, "Bite the tail off the horsey". Not sure if they love or hate each other.

Swingin' D Horse Rescue saves horses from the slaughter pipeline, nurses them back to health, evaluates and trains them, and adopts them to responsible owners. We survive off of adoption fees and donations.
