These characters are very special to many people. They are what separates Chuck E. Cheese’s from other pizza places and arcades. They give people a reason to come in and buy a pizza. Most people prefer to sit in the showroom, and the reason for that is obvious. If you remove the animatronics, I imagine that food sales will decrease because most children want entertainment while they eat. And the videos on screen don’t provide the same kind of entertainment that the animatronics do. Children are often more fascinated by the robots than the puppets and ads on screen. The people in the CEC fandom come because they enjoy the animatronics. And CEC gets money because they usually buy food and watch the show. Although the animatronics don’t make the company any money directly, they give a reason for the company to make money. We buy CEC merch to represent our love of Chuck E. and his friends onstage! Just because “Chuck E. Cheese’s” is written on the building doesn’t make it Chuck E. Cheeses. What I mean is that Chuck E. Cheese’s is known for the animatronics and if you take them away, the uniqueness and magic of the place goes away, and It’s basically not Chuck E. Cheese’s anymore. So please Corporate. Please listen to what the fandom is trying to say. You will most likely lose a percent of business if you remove the animatronics. Please keep them in stores.
