This is a much easier way to do savage omega if you don't have any friends to play with or have only one friend that plays consistently (me in this video). Support hunters DO NOT CART like randoms and you don't have to keep healing them either, you only have to focus on healing yourself or your other team mate.
To activate the support hunters, What you want to do is go to hunting options after talking to alma when selecting a quest and activate automatic SOS flare and change players to support hunters only. Make sure you choose one lance user and the hunting horn user if you have someone doing the quest with you, if you're doing it solo add a sword and shield user as they are the ones that provide heals. MAKE SURE TO BRING THE FFXIV MOTIF AS IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE NERSCYLLA DPS CHECK. And please do bring a secondary fire weapon for Nerscylla as the support hunters don't do much damage and you will fail the DPS check otherwise.
My build is a straight forward dual blade build using the omega set, (omega set is not required) honestly the Rey Dau gamma set worked better for me with Lagiacrus dual blades which gives you an insane amount of Thunder DPS. And for my secondary set of Dual Blades I ran Artian fire dual blades. Try go into this hunt with fully upgraded armour if you can otherwise it might be a bit more of a headache surviving the last phases of the hunt.
