Easy Sausage and Peppers
-1 Tbsp butter
-1 Tbsp olive oil
-1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
-1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
-1 large yellow onion, sliced
-14oz smoked sausage, sliced
-1 Tbsp minced garlic
-2 tsp Italian seasoning
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp onion powder
-salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: cooked rice
1: Add the butter and oil to a pan, and sauté the bell peppers, and onion, for about 10 minutes over medium high heat.
2: Add in the garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, until the sausage is crispy around the edges.
I like to serve mine over cooked rice.
