A real-time comparison of the launches of NASA's three most recent rockets- the Saturn V, the Space Shuttle, and the Space Launch System during the first 3:30 minutes of flight.

Saturn V - Apollo 11, 1969
Space Shuttle - STS-129, Atlantis, 2009
SLS - Artemis I, 2022

Mixed with commentary audio from all three launches, this video demonstrates how NASA's rockets operate during the first 3 minutes of flight. I would love to make a longer one (potentially all the way to orbit), but there is limited onboard footage of those minutes during the Saturn V launches.

I've added in telemetry data on altitude and velocity, although different resources even within NASA contained some contradictory readings. I've tried to sift through all of it and provide the most accurate measurements, but those should be taken with a grain of salt.
