Arcade port of Power Drift released as part of Sega Ages to the Sega Saturn in 1998. This might represent the pinnacle of all the arcade super scaler games and the Saturn does a good job of representing the game although at only 30fps.

The game is fast and furious and can be unforgiving at time especially as the ai racers can seemingly travel through the scenery ...

The Saturn version contains the original Arcade mode and soundtracks, but also features a special Grand Prix mode with arranged audio tracks. The original music is good, but I do really like the arranged versions in this version.

I show two runs of the game. First Grand Prix mode and then Arcade mode (each with there appropriate sound tracks). The gameplay differs slightly in that in GP mode you take one character though all 5 championships. Getting 1st place on all tracks unlock the Extra stages at the end of the game. In Arcade mode, you take a character through each individual championship. A special stage is unlocked at the end of each championship if you get all gold medals.
