Let's solve this SAT Reading question -- give it a try before watching the video :)
When solving inference -- or logical completion -- questions, you should pay attention to
1) The topic, argument, and purpose of the text as as a whole, and
2) any clues in the sentence with the blank that suggests how that blank relates to the text as a whole.
Don't get distracted by non sequiturs (irrelevant or "random" statements).
