FINALLY SOMETHING THAT IS NOT A MEP PART xD it had been like more than 3 months since the last time i uploaded a personal project. and i hadn't edited RAW since forever as well ;w;
anyway, this is a 3 hours IC i did with my friend Christina, also known as PICO. well, it was a bit more than 3 hours because of the usual rendering and uploading problems, but in the end we did it haha she was the one to suggest the song and guess what? it made me think of Saruhiko and Misaki lol so unusual for me, really. i think i could have improved some stuff, but i seriously can't take it anymore xD btw in 6 days it will be exactly one year since i did my first video and i wanted to upload something, maybe a MEP collection. i would have liked to do a specific video but i don't think i have the time ;w;

this is a quick video i edited today because i FINALLY had some quiet and alone time to edit. i havent been able to do anything lately because i went back home from university for summer holidays and ive had my family around 24/7, i usually need silence and no interruptions to edit so as you can imagine the situation was not ideal lol not to mention the fact that there are some situations that are currently making me quite upset, especially with my dad and brother
anyway, about the video: ive been meaning to edit with this anime for a couple of weeks, since im really enjoying it so far, and i had two songs in mind; this was one of the two, but i still wanna edit the other as well so i guess im just gonna wait for more episodes to come out and then try again (since i switched between this one and the other about three times lol). the video was meant to be longer, but i was getting very frustrated because keyframes didnt look the way i wanted them to so i just gave in and cut the audio :) talking about that, i really love imagine dragons and when i heard this song for the first time i knew i wanted to edit it, but i didnt know what footage to choose. then all of a sudden realization hit me: it fits Ash SO WELL. and here you go!

...im (not) sorry, im having an otp moment ok
given that the two previous videos i did with this pairing were both some kind of vent, which i did because i was upset and therefore quite angsty, i decided it was about time i did something with a different vibe :)) i got this song in the spotify recommendations and immediately thought of them lol i had a lot of fun editing, even though i did struggle a bit at one point. im very satisfied about the coloring though!
lets just say i have a lot of time on my hands atm, since as you may know theyve suspended pretty much everything in italy, due to this virus outbreak, and all i can do is eat, sleep and edit cause university, the gym, cinemas, museums... everything is closed. hence the frequent uploads ¯_(ツ)_/¯

its been more than one year since i last uploaded a mep part by itself rather than in a collection, but ive worked so hard and for so long on this one that i just had to lol when i tell you i spent almost one hour just to make that flower jump like that..... plus all the masks i had to do............. bye
so i waited for the finished mep to be up, i did that poor excuse of an intro in five minutes with stuff i recycled from the part itself and here we are haha the very fact this part was finished in the end is kind of a miracle, since when i was almost done with it i had to send my laptop to repair and it stayed there almost three weeks 🤦🏻♀️
i always say this, but i still havent got over my problem with editing colorful stuff so this was A STRUGGLE. i was extremely inspired for this part though because when the signup was posted the moment i heard the lyrics i KNEW that i wanted to try joining and that i would use yuri on ice... the scene of viktor banging on yuuris door in one of the first episodes went perfectly with the chorus and if i hadnt asked for that part i would have regretted it for the rest of my life haha all considered i did have fun, even though as i said it took quite a while before i figured out how to match the colors without making everything look like a mess :)
lastly, id like to thank the leaders for letting me join the studio! dorkus seems like such a fun group to be in and im looking forward to all the future projects 💖
PS: the mep came out SO GOOD?? no words honestly, ill be replaying it everyday until september at the very least

long story short, a couple of days ago this song came up in my playlist, its quite popular but i hadnt listened to it in a while, and i suddenly realized that its literally joes theme song?? so now everytime i see his face the song starts playing in my head and i absolutely had to make a video lol
it had started as a serious edit, but once i had the idea of synching with the beat that scene where cherry kicks him in the ass i laughed so hard that i had to sprinkle some comedy in and i think this made it so much better haha he acts all smooth and playboy-ish, but hes a meme especially when paired up with cherry 👏

this is possibly the fastest raw video ive done in my life?? i was working on something else entirely and this song came to mind out of the blue, i thought about it for a bit and then realized how fitting it would be for this pairing. i had all the scenes already set up in my mind, and all i had to do was place them in sv. so that part of the editing process went by at the speed of light, then i kinda slowed down while doing the pan/crop, effects, etc. but honestly there was no struggle at all. i guess this was one of those blessed moments where inspiration truly hits haha
the idea of the video is: hiyori kept his feelings for ikuya hidden throughout all the years theyve known each other, and when haru suddenly comes back into ikuyas life hiyori is jealous and hurt. he tries to confess, but hes rejected. so he regrets not speaking up sooner, wondering if things would have turned out differently in that case, but now its too late cause ikuya has been taken away from him ¯_(ツ)_/¯
i sure loved making this look like some angsty love triangle lol i mean, IT KINDA IS. but hiyori and ikuya belong to each other, i just like hurting myself sometimes
