SARAH TO STAR IN CHINA PREMIERE OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER’S MASTERPIECE, ‘SUNSET BOULEVARD’ … COMING TO CHINA IN MARCH 2025!
Beijing Poly Theatre Management and GWB Entertainment are thrilled to announce the China premiere of a brand-new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece, ‘SUNSET BOULEVARD.’
The production, which will open in March 2025, is in association with Opera Australia, by arrangement with The Really Useful Group and features Sarah in the iconic role of Norma Desmond. This marks the first time she will be performing in a musical theatre production in China.
Following successful seasons at the iconic Sydney Opera House, and most recently having played to sold out houses in Singapore, ‘SUNSET BOULEVARD will premiere in Beijing at the Opera of Beijing Performing Arts Centre on March 27th, followed by strictly limited seasons in Shanghai at Shanghai Poly AIA Theatre, Wuhan at Wuhan Poly Qintai Grand Theatre and Shenzhen at Shenzhen Poly Grand Theatre.
Tickets for Beijing performances of ‘SUNSET BOULEVARD’ are on sale NOW at sarahbrightman.com/tours. Shanghai, Wuhan and Shenzhen ticket on-sale dates and times to be announced in the coming days.
