piano: Sarah Konecsni
The new work by Canadian composer Sarah Konecnsi, for solo piano, was inspired by the series of novels, The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel. The score consists of three Fantasies, based on the first three books of the series.
The musical elements found in each Fantasy, are interwoven with each other, and more contemporary techniques (such as playing inside the piano with the fingernail, or muting strings) are used, without this meaning that the music itself loses any of its fabulous appeal.
For advanced level pianists.
The score is decorated with B&W illustrations by Polish illustration artist Elwira Pawlikovska.

![Daniel Perttu - Toccata for Piano Duet [with score]
The first work by American composer Daniel Perttu to be published by Editions Musica Ferrum.
This work comes with a frantic, non stop movement, of almost ten minutes. Technically demanding, but very rewarding for the performers, as well as the audience.
The recording is from 2012, by Holly Roadfeldt and Jeri-Mae Astolfi. Daniel Perttu - Toccata for Piano Duet [with score]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZPlAgxt85AU/mqdefault.jpg)
