Sarah Cattley - Scuttle

My piece is called 'Scuttle', and it's inspired by the way that spiders
move; the opening gesture requires the pianist's hands to be right on top
of each other making a creepy crawly motion. The middle section in 5/8
loosely depicts a shining cobweb, before the opening material returns -
this time with the addition of a malign influence in the form of a hand
trying to squish the spider.
