Entry for the first round of highgreenbunny's editing contest. The theme was uncommon x common character relationship, with the uncommon character as the main character. (EDIT: I got through to the next round!)
I was forced to rush this a bit because of several reasons but it was loads of fun. For some reason I'd never thought of editing with Sarabi before (shame on me) even though she's gorgeous. Have you seen her? GORGEOUS.
Storyline:
Sarabi has a dream about the day she lost her husband and child. Nala, returning from a hunt, finds her and wakes her up. After that it's shown how their friendship started - Sarabi saved Nala from some hyenas, and was then shocked to realize she saw her son in Nala.
It would have ended with Nala killing Scar because he beat Sarabi, but I only had enough time for the bare minimum of editing... Oops.
