Sara Uppet and Mercedes Jones were driving their monster trucks down the road when they came to a stop sign. They both stopped and looked at each other.
"Hi Mercedes," Sara said. "You can go first."
Mercedes smiled. "Awe yeah Sara, you are kind and cool."
"Thanks Mercedes," Sara said. "Being kind to others is cool, so kindness is cool."
"You better believe that," Mercedes said. "Kindness is cool and whatnot."
Mercedes waved and drove his blue monster truck on down the road to Vidsville. Sara watched him go and smiled.
"Bye Mercedes," she said.
Then Sara drove her own monster truck to Vidsville. She was glad that she had been kind to Mercedes. It made her feel good to know that she had made someone else's day a little bit brighter.
