This year for National Forensic Science Week #SAPD is showcasing our Latent Fingerprint Examiner Unit!

This Civilian unit does so much to help detectives, as it is their job to examine fingerprints taken from crime scenes and get those fingerprints identified. When those prints are identified, it helps the detectives solve the case by placing that suspect at the scene.

A big thank you to our latent fingerprint examiners as well as everyone else in forensic science all over the world.
