Adjustment of bias with flathead screwdriver (does not have to be non-metallic) and analog voltmeter. Unit must be put into record mode and the adjustment must be done for both channels. Measurement is taken at two 10-ohm resistors in this particular model. Should be done exactly as stated in the service manual. The correct bias improves frequency response and reduces distortion.
