Argentinian-born Santiago Kodela became interested in the guitar when he was 16. He began dabbling with various genres of metal and playing with different bands in Argentina with many releases to his name.
Over time his evolving music taste allowed him to learn Flamenco and Jazz from icons of these genres Manolo Yglesias (Flamenco) and Walter Malosetti (Jazz) in 2010-2012.
A degree in Business Administration didn't tie him down to modern concrete jungles. In early 2013, he quit his job in Buenos Aires and moved to Dublin, Ireland where got through with his audition at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. He finished his Diploma in Music and Teaching performance under the tuition of Marion Hyland.
Santiago Kodela is currently working hard at his release he calls "Wanderlust" - a 4-track EP that combines different styles and genres of guitar playing from prog to jazz and classical.
Also keep an eye out for his full LP of original compositions on the classical guitar featuring guest appearances by friends from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
