Santa Fe Police Department expanding their bike team today. Recent city funding from the city allows the department to now specialize 4 officers and 1 sergeant on bikes.

Interim Police Chief Ben Valdez says a bike gives an officer the advantage of speed, maneuverability and the opportunity to better connect with the public.
