Composed in 1934 by J. Fred Coots (with lyrics by Haven Gillespie), "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" became one of the most popular Christmas tunes ever written, and has been recorded by over 200 artists.

Famous versions of the song have been released by Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Bill Evans, Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé, the Jackson 5, Neil Diamond, Bruce Springsteen, and many others.
