I have been tasked with the challenge to make videos to go along with songs written by my friend Sandy Soffe from Pennsylvania that go along with the Twelve Steps endorsed by Celebrate Recovery. The Celebrate Recovery Twelve Steps are pretty much the same as the Twelve Steps used by Alcoholics Anonymous. While AA uses the vague phrase "higher power", Celebrate Recovery's version makes it very clear that that "higher power" is Jesus Christ.

Step Four is often considered to be the most troublesome step. It asks us to make a "searching and moral inventory of ourselves." Most people take that to mean to make a list of the people we have hurt and the people who have hurt us. But, there is another side. Think about it. Inventory. That doesn't only imply the hurtful things. It also implies the positive things, the things that we have done to benefit and encourage others. And the things that others have done to benefit and encourage us. So, when you undertake Step Four, try to keep things balanced. Consider the positive sides, not just the negative sides.
