At the Techritory Forum in Riga, Latvia, in October 2025, several companies showcased their work in limtary technology. One of those is a startup called Exonicus. The company delivers software on the Meta Quest 3 headset, enabling wgat it said is scalable, objective training for all service members, combat lifesavers , combat medics, and emergency responders - anytime, anywhere, without the need for mannekins, simulation labs, or permanent infrastructure.
EE Times spoke with Sandis Kondrats, CEO and founder of Exonicus, to learn more on how they are trainings soldiers how to save lives, based on learnings from direct experience on the battlefield in Ukraine. He also talks about the company's journey, it's contracts with the US Army, it's contract with the European Union to prepare European armies, and what his mission is with the company.
