Using the rotary tool with quite an aggressive head to pull back the details was nerve wracking but worked really great! The detail across the back of the head will get lost if sanded so I keep it as-is for now and I'll use spray putty on it when I get that far along in the process.
Not I need to apply a layer of putty before another few round of sanding!
