Water remains a luxury and an expensive commodity for residents of Sand River near Hazyview, Mpumalanga.

Residents claim to be forced to buy water. Apparently water is yet to come out of the taps installed about 10-years ago.

The locals are also accusing the Mbombela Municipality of failing to provide them with water through water tankers.
