"Through The Field" - Track 10 of 12 from 'Autumn,' which was released alongside 'Summer,' 'Winter,' and 'Spring' as part of the 4 LP box set, "The Seasons," released in 1973.
'Winter' and 'Summer' were the only LPs that got independent releases on vinyl, separate from the box set. And even more tragic is the fact that 'Summer' was the only album of the entire set to be released on CD. Needless to say, 'Spring' and 'Autumn' are very difficult to come by. So, I'm posting them here for all you McKuen/San Sebastian Strings fans.
A huge thank you to Dennis for digitizing the LPs and sharing them with me, and now all of you. His youtube page is 'urdivine'- go check it out for tons of great videos, including Rod McKuen and San Sebastian Strings songs.

According to Rod, his first LP was Lonely Summer, recorded before Lazy Afternoon...It may have remained in the can for a year or two several sources give early 1958 as its release date.
