San Joaquin Pipeline Valve and Safe Entry Improvements: Phase 3 – Tesla Surge Tower: A new 60-inch surge pipe and tower is being construction just downstream of Tesla Valve house to protect the
existing San Joaquin Pipelines from a possible pressure sure event. Work includes connecting the new surge tower to the existing spillway. Photo shows 25-40-feet surge pipe sections, 60-inch diameter, 5 -feet from the ground.
