San Diego is voting on Measure A this June, a proposed tax on non-primary homes aimed at addressing both a housing shortage and a $121 million city budget deficit.

The tax is $8,000 in the first year and $10,000 every year after, regardless of the property's value. What does that mean for the average homeowner?
