The Archdiocese of San Antonio has officially declared that Fr. John Mary Foster, founder of the Mission of Divine Mercy in Texas, has been found guilty of schism, incurring latae sententiae excommunication and being formally dismissed from the clerical state. This gives us another example of how only traditionalists are ever punished within the Catholic Church.
