American composer Samuel Stokes (b. 1980) was educdated at the University of Central Missouri (BM and MA), Florida State University (MM), and Louisiana State University (PhD). He has taught music at Northwestern State University, the Northwestern State University Lab Schools, and Louisiana State University.
